ESN: 700533, JT8D-15A, Fed Ex Stage 3
• Low Pressure Compressor: Dissasemble to replace the C-2, C-3, C-5 and C-6. Overhaul Stators, Spacers and Blades. Comply with AD 2003-05-07 (Tie Rod Replacement).
• Intermediate Case: Overhaul Bleed Valves, continue time inspect remaining module.
• High Pressure Compressor: Disassemble to comply with AD 2003-12-07, corrosion inspection of the N-2 Disks. Replace C-9 with a new thick web disk in order to achieve 8 years as per ASB 6431, replace C-8 and C-10 Disk. Overhaul Stators, spacers and Blades (CAT “A”), assemble and dynamic balance.
• Diffuser Case: Overhaul the Fuel Nozzles and Bleed Valves, Continue time inspect the remaining module.
• Hot Section: Overhaul T-1 Vanes (Min 27 AFR vanes at the hot spots), Combustion Chambers CAT 2A, continue time inspect remaining parts.
• High Pressure Turbine: Continue time inspect module, Overhaul T-1 Outer Airseal and dynamic balance. (T-1 Blades have 2000 cycles since new).
• Low Pressure Turbine: Disassemble and overhaul T-2 Vanes and T-2 Outer Airseal, continue time inspect the remaining parts, assemble and Dynamic Balance.
• Exhaust Case: Continue time inspect.
• Main Accessory Gearbox: Disassemble and replace main split line seal, pressure check and continue time inspect remaining parts.
• Accessories: Functionally check during test cell run.
• Test Cell: Perform PWA Type 3 test.
• ADs and Service Bulletins: Comply with all, past and present.
